Bottom Line
- Hurricane Delta is currently bringing tropical storm force wind gusts, high surf and coastal flooding along the Gulf coast and Galveston .
- Landfall still expected this early this evening on the SW Louisiana coast where impacts will be more severe.
- For SE Texas will see rain end, winds decrease tonight. Tide levels, around peak levels this morning, will decrease gradually through tonight and back to near normal on Saturday.
- Bay side northern facing shore may see a secondary peak with next high side with increasing winds from the north piling up water there.
